I’m a photographer in the greater Philadelphia metro area. I originally cut my teeth on nature & landscape photography, learning all I could about the craft. I am a rabid fan of natural light photography, though I have switched to a lot of studio lighting
I am a writer & photographer for the music publication PopWreck(oning). But I am allowed total creative control and still very much able to work with whomever I want.
I’ve always had an affection for the camera, all the way back to my days in elementary school. My 6th grade teacher exposed me to my first ever SLR camera, and from there I was obsessed. I got my first real film camera New Years Eve, 2001. After that I completely dived into learning even more than I already knew. I immersed myself in books, magazines, web sites, and conversation with other photographers. It became, and remains to this day one of my biggest passions. I switched to digital in Fall of 2004, and from there I have immediately seen progression in my style and abilities. To those who talk down digital photography, I say I am doing my best work ever now in the boom of digital than I ever did with the finest slide films.
In my spare time when I’m not shooting photos I’m working on my musical project, Point A to B.
Music and photography compete head to head with being my biggest passions and motivation in life. I am bothered not if riches never come, I simply love to create art with all my heart and soul.
