Good Samaritan Shelter, a transitional and emergency mens shelter in Phoenixville, wanted a quality annual report for 2009-2010. I was able to utilize their branding standards and copy to present a polished and very fresh take on a non-profit annual report. The complete report can be downloaded and viewed by clicking here: PDF Download ( 3mb )
Mom's House of Greater Philadelphia was in need of a professional look to their bi-yearly newsletter. I was able to provide them a fresh perspective to what was once an in-house designed newsletter. A quality newsletter or annual report can help attract donors and put forth a very professional image.
J. Richard Liston Collegiate Mentoring is a great example of quality designed turned around in a short amount of time. The client needed a business card as well as a marketing flyer ASAP. I was able to provide this in a timely matter and much to the client's satisfaction.
Sphere College, a free college for adults 21 & older, was in need of a logo and branding initiative. Below were some concepts submitted for approval. Work is still ongoing, and these are posted with permission of the client.
The Unfiltered Phoenixville news is a community-oriented news and commentary group on Facebook. The logo incorporates a strong font type, as well as a glyph representing the water tower that can be seen from downtown Phoenixville and which is illuminated at night with a star. The web site can be found at http://www.unfilteredphoenixville.com
Phoenixville based Yellow Duck Books was in need of a logo and business card. Yellow Duck is a seller of Usborne childrens books, and wanted something that was both a little cute and reflected the personality of the owner, Kristen.
Sierra Hurtt ( http://www.sierrahurtt.com/ ) is a musical artist who's style can be described as "Electro Soul". She was in need of a poster for her upcoming world tour across the USA, Europe, and Great Britain.
Below are some other examples of various works. Included are some promotional works I did for a side project of mine, Sweetest Melody Design, which caters exclusively to independent musicians who are on a very limited budget. For a fixed price, posters for shows are provided, however I take full creative control and the client only has input on the event information details. It's more a labor of love and route for my unchained creative expression. Also included is a concept for the band Tin Bird Choir, who wound up using a different poster for their show due to time constraints. Also you'll find an unused logo concept for my current business venture.
Before doing posters for Hezekiah Jones ( http://www.hezekiahjones.com) I worked with him on some promo photos. This has to be one of my favorite photos I've ever taken. And it shows a perfect example of the strong, bold lighting technique I've been favorable to.
Philadelphia folk musician Adrien Reju asked me to help her with some pictures for her last album, "A Million Hearts". ( http://www.rejumusic.com/) Here is the photo she selected for the inside sleeve of the CD case. Adrien has the distinction of being my first ever CD credit. Thanks Adrien!
My friend and neighbor Liza Houck needed some photos to help launch her etsy.com store. Liza makes handmade clothing, from reclaimed clothing items. They are truly spectacular, and it was great to work with her on some naturally lit shots..
Below is a handful of studio lit as well as natural light photos from my portfolio. Many, many more portfolio examples of photographs can be found on my flickr page, located at http://flickr.com/photos/edroper
